Sorry about that. Could be a number of things maybe imperfection in the metal, weather and suspension, etc. What size? How old? stretched tires?

Are they originally black or powdercoated? Some people will say powdercoating weakens the wheel but I've never experienced this.

from what these two thread state, especially the second one, if the powder coating was improperly applied, or if the heat was too hot, you could have weakened the wheel in the process.

throw on some stockers is what I would do. I have seen numerous vehicle accident pictures where the stock wheels only bend. If you had XXRs this wouldn't be such a big deal since replacement is so cheap

common for wheels that are powder coated and driven properly. Most evo owners will never push their car hard enough to stress the wheels. We put a camera on a GT3 RSR during testing to watch the suspension under stress and we were blown away when we saw the wheel flexing several millimeters during cornering. The baking process during powder coating ruins the metals ability to flex under cornering demands, thus leading to cracks. But most owners never stress the wheel enough to cause an issue. Congrats on properly driving your car

Reminds me of my OEMs when it got it's crack.

I live in a city full of covered potholes so it was bound to happen. Good thing about Enkeis are that they hold up pretty well. I've seen XXRs just completely shatter without even having a crack in any spokes to warn you.

There are wheel shops that could fix that. Some offer a good warrantee too.

The wheels are already compromised due to the powder coating process and cracking. I wouldn't subject them to additional stress from a questionable repair.
