^ On a Lancer. Not even the same base platform.

You're the only one that keeps pushing them.

HSD and Megans are the same. And Brits are not magically smarter when it comes to suspensions It's the same as telling them to Google "stanced car" and see how awesome (sarcasm) the US is.

Look for used KW3s, Ohlins, ASTs -- they pop up and go fast.

Oh how I have missed you Smike.

Well.... I actually have gotten a chance to get some seat time testing different coilovers on one EVO 8/9 since we last engaged. I am actually happy to be the only one pushing them as you put it. But your assumption that Megans are the same as HSD's is incorrect. If you would like to show me data that says it is I am all ears and would like to learn more from you. But for the sake of making this post a little bit educational, lets provide links to megan and hsd.

Track & Street Inverted Monotube

My two cents on it, is that HSD makes very reliable Inverted monotube coilover that can actually perform very well on the track and yet provide a good comfort feel on the street. Many many many companies have tried to do this and not exactly hit the market when it comes to entry level or mid range coilovers. Typically they opt for different coilovers doing different things. (bringing back full circle, the fact that they last doing both of these things says something)

In regards to your comment about the Brits. While region again .... doesn't matter. My point was, HSD has been in the UK market for some time. since around 2006 - 2007 ish. So the wealth of community feedback is very high about that product and other well known peers that originate from Europe.

"You're the only one that keeps pushing them"

I am not the type of person that follows the crowd on hype or what ever the current tend is. I have product I rely on and recommend because they have proven to me that they work, and they work well. Again I wouldn't put anything on my car, or my project cars that I wasn't comfortable with or wasn't worth the upgrade. So I have no problem standing in a camp of 1, 2, or 50 people. It's my opinion, my recommendation.

I happen to think HSD, and a few other brands of suspension are good stuff. There is not anything wrong with KW3s, Ohlins, ASTs at all. They are all very worthy options. But... I am aware that they are other brands out there and there is no such thing as perfection nore is there such thing as a one size fits all. There are different kits or products out there that meet certain applications or tasks.

for your price these will be your best bet. They are built in house and are valved to match your choice of swift springs. Odi ( the owner ) will take his time with you on the phone. They have a very good reputation on NASIOC for their re valve services for oem sti suspension. good luck!
