Stick with Springs and Bilstein shocks especially if you want stock-ish suspension. The stock KYB's are terrible but the MR or HD bilsteins amazing.

GTworks springs are your best bet if you want it close to stock, IE not lowering too much.

I'm on tanabe gf-210 without any fender modifications and the ride feels a bit bouncy "stiff" but all in all its handeling feel is great.

Go with Swift springs/bilsteins (Most inexpensive route)

Guys at MAP informed me about Stance coils (Cheapest of the coilovers around 1300) but I don't know about them (they say they're great, rebuildable, durable, valved properly etc..)

KW V3 coilovers (roughly 2grand) These are well known to be quality coilovers

Ohlins - (roughly 3grand) price goes up from here (I bought a set of custom GTWorx ohlins, I haven't installed them yet and I'm currently riding on megans)

Motion - Bring your pocket book and your first born child.

WTF?

Stock wheels/tires don't need fender modification.

Search the forum, spend a little time reading before posting, it will make the community a bit happier.

So are you on a stock 9 MR suspension? Define bouncy. The stock Evo 9 MR suspension is one of the most comfortable you can have on the Evo, so if that's too bouncy, then I'm not sure anything short of a set of street tuned Ohlins is going to help you. If you're just looking for a drop, get Swift springs. If your stock struts are shot, you're in luck, as you can have Bilstein rebuild them.

Springs generally ride much better then coilovers. Coilovers are also a lot more expensive. You don't want to go cheap on coilovers, you get what you pay for. I was told by the previous owner my Evo had Tein springs and they are branded Tein but they sag and are garbage so I would hope they are eBay knock offs because if they are authentic i will never use Tein agin. Moral of the story, buy quality parts.

^ Sadly they're most likely authentic.
