ideal suspension setup for street **
Hi guys, Ive read thru a few threads on Rake and how positive rake can be bad for the car by increasing understeer etc, and yes there a bit of information on it, but suspension and handling stuff is quite new to me and im still learning at the moment.
I run pss9s bilstein coilovers, and i DD my evo8.
would anyone recommend what settings i could run them at height so that theyre maximised performance, also damper settings to best suit street handling, freeway entrance etc. also what tire pressure should i run for best grip (i run enkei gtc01s 17x8 235/45/17)? front/rear camber/ alignment specs ideal for handling but not to the extreme as its still a DD
even tho i DD the car and only drive it on the street i do not mind the car riding a bit harsh,
i just want my evo performing at its best, function > form.. or whatever the saying is lol !
any advice or personal experience would be appreciated ! thanks guy !

I don't have all the answers you're looking for, but here's what I CAN suggest:
Regarding tire pressure, around 34-35 would probably be good. I run closer to 40 on the street for better gas mileage.
Camber for a street-only car: -1° front and around .7° in the rear would be reasonable I think. I have close to -2 in the front and my tires do have a little bit of camber wear since the car is my dd.

also sorry for the newb question !
but the evo has camber bolts up front and a eccentric bolt in the rear, to adjust camber.. does this mean that the evo no matter what height will always be a certain degrees camber?? (ie. its set at -1, but if i lower my coilover a cm or two, will it still b locked on -1 ? )
^^ TIA !
