Overly asked question?

ive searched threads up and down, and on google. im planning to buy some MB weapons in 17x8 +28 my tires would be 245/45/17 if that makes a difference , and i need to know if the front will or will not clear so i can get 5mm spacers. half the answers say YES THEY WILL CLEAR NO SPACERS, and the other say NO YOU WILL NEED SPACERS.

sooo idk

Why not get wheels that don't need spacers or hub rings to center?

OE material quality and fitment is way above the level of wheel you are looking at. Which is why I would not change them.

Wheels can be repainted. Fix the OE wheels.

you're not going to make money selling the OE wheels and buying the MB's to offset anything

My car came with the 17x9 weapons and 245/45-17's. I don't see any spacers behind the wheels. The PO mentioned that he experienced some tire rub at full lock. I don't know the offset. I should be able to find out this weekend.
