Question about Abs Delete.

What's up guys, I'm considering to get the Rs Abs delete to drop some weight on my GSR. Do any of you Rs guys have any issues Dailying you cars? Anything that upgraded brake lines, systems, etc wouldn't fix? I'm not completely familiar with all that stuff. I was under the stupid impression that my car would slide even with the slightest bit of braking, as I commute on the highway quite often. If you guys have any information to share, I'd appreciate it. Lol, I know it's kinda dumb and random but I'm just curious.

Thanks!

Depends on driving conditions. If your on dry clean roads and are not braking violently your car should perform as usual. Driving on snow and ice packed roads will be a little more challenging. You might have to pump the brakes as abs would do automatically.

I daily drive my Rs and everything has been normal(knock on wood) just be careful and dont smash the brakes cause you'll just slide.

Removing the ABS is starting to sound more appealing.

So technically, I'd be putting more effort into braking to do my ABS system already does for me? I guess that doesn't sound too bad! I live out West right now so it's partially dry weather as opposed to you in New York. I'll do the delete and post up some photos!

Thanks guys!

The negative about ABS on snowy roads is the sensors continually pulse because because the tires are on a slippery surface. Without ABS, you can brake and get through a layer of snow where there is a bit more traction and you will stop sooner. ABS doesn't stop you faster, it allows you to steer while braking....in snow it REALLY extends your braking distance.
