Where can I get these brackets???

Looking for the black brackets that are inside the caliper that holds the pad in place. I tried Russell at MitsubishiParts but no luck.

You can see the bracket in these pics...

My calipers don't have such plates... What calipers do you want them for?

Are these the brackets you're looking for?

They're from Stoptech.

No but thanks.

It's the shim or whatever that seperates the pad from the caliper itself. Had a single screw that holds it to the caliper.

It appears the photo you posted shows a caliper casting specifically designed for that bracket.
Do our IX calipers have that angled casting feature & the female bolt hole?

Not sure why youre interested in adding a bracket that may not be designed for the IX caliper?

those brackets are on all 8 and 9 brembos, they keep the pad backing plate from wearing the caliper itself. have no idea what they are called or where to get them though. are they just corroded badly or are you missing one? if they are just corroded badly, you can have a plating shop redo them in cadmium or whatever they are coated with. should be cheap.

you can try http://www.fredbeansparts.com/ and http://www.girodisc.com/ for replacements, not sure what kind of luck you will have though.

Lost one of those on the rear of my VIII. Good luck finding a replacement, I ended up having the caliper replaced under warranty.

Those are wear plates and they're nice and shiny silver when new, not black.
