Best Performance Tire - EVO VIII

Hello!!

First of all Im gonna introduce myself, my name is Ignacio (short name Nacho), from Santiago of Chile and own an 2005- Evo VIII GSR.

The installed mods are:

- Injen Intake with upper and lower intercooler pipes.
- Intercooler AMS FMIC (12.4" tall, 20" wide (28" with end tanks) and 3.5" thick)
- Synapse Valve.
- Turbo Evo IX Size + Antisurge.
- Tactrix 3 ports solenoid
- Reflash.
- Elbow.
- Greddy Comp Ti-C Turbo-Back Exhaust.
- I've changed the clutch (later on I'll post the specs).

I've looking for information about tires, I only use the car on weekends and not as a daily. The use is only on streets (so far I haven't think about going to a track).

Well I'll ask you for a big help, I'm interested in the performance side of the tires for dry and wet streets, about the rims I have the stock enkei (very happy with them), could you PLEEASSEEE give me your recommendations about brand, model and size of tires for my EVO???? Of course if you explain your suggestions with be amazing just to be sure about my decision.

I make a big deal about this because it's not easy for us (Chile) to get sport tires, so i'm 95% sure that i'll have to import them....

Well thank you all in advance,
Greetings from Chile!

Nacho.

If interested in a sport summer tire, I would look to the Dunlop Z1 and ZII (if you can wait until spring I'd hold out for the ZII depending on the size). Michelin's Pilot Super Sport would be another worth looking at. For a tad more life and better ride, look at B-Stone's RE760 and Conti DW.

We ship worldwide if needed.

If you dont mind tire noise and lower tire life the toyo r888 is a awesome performance tire . You can dd on them and then go straight to the track.

If you got the dough , Michelin super sports are my all time favorite tire... It's like having train tracks ... After those I had hankook ventus v12 and they are absolutely horrible tires.

Dunlop ZII and BFG Rival are the top two just released this year.

Last year was the Dunlop Star Spec ZI. Toyo R1R, Hankook RS3, and Yoko AD08.

a real underdog but works well and was made to compete against the grand daddy of extreme summer tires is the Copper Zeon RS3, official tire for the Roush Mustang Stage 3
