Stupid brake question

I just put new front rotors on my evo and the still seem warped the steering vibrates pretty bad when stoping from high speed, not so much at 35mph. My question is can anything else cause this because my brake pedal doesnt seem bounce around too much. This is my first experience with non floating callipers and am not sure. the front end of the car is tight its an 03 evo 8 Thanks

Try balancing the wheels.

Lots of times people think they have warped rotors when in fact it's uneven pad transfer/deposits that cause the vibration.. Are the pads new as well, did u bed them properly?

I've seen feathered wear on tires cause this. run your hand over your tires and see if they are abnormally feathered. if the rears don't show this feathered wear swap fronts to rears and go for a drive and see if it goes away.

interesting.. So you are certain that your bushings are in good shape? Basic things like checking that out and making sure your front end suspension and steering is properly torqued down, and no excessive free play on things, are good first steps.

Evo brakes are not the same as those on your average grocery getter.

You stated that you've changed pads/ rotors before, but just make sure your hub is clean of rust and debris. If not, the deposits will upset the straight running of the rotor in relation to the hub, and will cause vibration under braking.

I machined rotors and tried 3 sets of pads quietest being the stoptech streets. However when I go to a place that blows snow and water/snow gets into the wheel.... as soon as I touch the brakes backing out it squeals SUPER loud. Only way to get rid of it is to heat the brakes up.... impossible to do leaving a packed resort.
