There's lots of great advice man just search for it. Ive actually been researching the same thing today as im looking into powering up the cornering on my evo. Ive found that swift and gtworx both make a great set of springs with a good drop that dosnt shotgun your stock struts on the first bump. Although gtworx set can be cheaper its stiffer than the swift and provides more turning ability than comfortability. With swift its the opposite giving you great comfortability/performance at a slighly higher price. If you just want a drop for looks go with tein as most of those will drop you 2" but will blow your struts quicker than you can enjoy them (so ive been told). If its performance try either of the 2 brands ive suggested. And if you have the extra coin throw in some whiteline goodies

If you want performance and a decent drop go with the Swift R springs, if not go with the Tein springs, they drop you '2 inches. It's stiff but I like it like that, just have to watch out for potholes and dips.
