Whiteline roll center kit garbage

Bought this 2 or 3 years ago and installed it. Heard and saw track guys having problems with boots. Well i just recently did some work for my rims and well boots look about as busted up as a pregnant prostitute. I give whiteline a huge and i must say this again huge thumb down. I emailed them to see what they say but i want to put the word out for other evo owners. I have only one alignment which boots where not torn but they have always looked stretched out and messed up i didnt have much faith in them. Well chime in for what u run i need to figure out something new to run. Btw balljoints have about 15000 miles of use on streets no crazy track use and all shields are in place. One more thing the nuts they give u for the tie rods are about a grade 2 soft as lead hit them with a hammer and watch them deform

I've got a thread up for a tie rod end failure. I just got an email this morning saying that they are going to be sending me a replacement.

As far as the boot issue, I do believe there are threads up about this. I think that they ended up changing the boot material. If I was going to do it again I would just use the stock boots.

My boots were torn as well I emailed them and they had replacements to my door in a couple days free of charge.

No complaints here with a company that stands behind their product

If you're not running heat shields, the boots are not going to last, this isn't news and not the fault of Whiteline.

Also, you can get a replacement boot kit for $40?

If u can use stock boots then they aren't bad joints just the boots are a jk. Just do yourself a favor and buy some nice grade 8 nylock nuts for the tie rods

I don't remember when Whiteline changed their rubber compound, but the current versions is a different rubber. I've had mine for 1.5 years and have had no issues with them. I dd, track, and autox my car too. A lot of guys who report of melted or deformed boots usually resulted from not using heat shields on their brakes. Reach out to Whiteline, they're very good with warrantees.

The new ones don't have a hole for a cotter pin, they use nylon lock nut instead so you don't use the factory crown nut. My whitelines work great, no issues

This. It has been discussed a few times on the forum as well. I've had mine a few years with no issues but maybe I got them after the change in compound and I have heat shields on.

You can get some of the metallic heat shield wrap ane cover it. Then twist some strong wire around the top and bottom.
