when its time

help me to decide when its time to change the brake pads on my evo 8.its 3/16" left of material.its not squeeking or making other noises but when i brake driving highway speed i can feel pedal vibrates.my rotors are dimpled but i think i never felt that strong vibration before.so my real question is 3/16" is about time or thats another issue.thanks a lot!

3/16" left is still a pretty decent amount of pad material if you're just daily driving. The vibration in the pedal has nothing to do with the pad thickness, its more to do with the surface of the rotors.
