like it says... will it fit? i'm pretty sure i read on here somewhere that our offset is +35. so if i go with a higher number will that make the wheel stick out more or will it sit the wheel in more? overall, will a +42 offset on a 17x8.5 wheel fit?

It'll sit in more. I doubt it would work.

 

It's impossible to say if they will fit or not due to clearance on the calipers. Most aftermarket wheels are +30 whereas the stock Enkei's are +38 due to caliper clearance, but then you have to start worrying about rubbing on the fenders.
