Tire worries

Ok, about a month or two ago I got two nails in one of my tires and it had to be replaced. Because i didn't have alot of money, i went with a similar tire, but instead of Yoko, it was a Dunlop.

I just had my tires rotated Weds. for the first time since the replacement and this put the Dunlop in the front.

Tonight, under spirited driving, my tires screeched three times when making swift turns. I've never had them screech before.

Is this because I was pushing the car hard or because the tires in the front are different?

its probably just because youre mixing brands, the rubber compound is probably a little different. Some tires will squeal easier than others. Its nuthin to worry about although i would reccomend gettin another dunlop

Definitely cuz of the cheaper front Dunlop.

Never mix and match tires! You can end up with lots of problems doing this. Either buy one new Yoko or three new dunlops.

Man, that is bad news that you mixed tires. I would not drive it at all anymore until you can have 4 identical tires put on your car. I wouldn't even use that dunlop with 3 other dunlops, cuz it has miles on it. You've probably decreased the life of your transfer case and your rear diff quite a bit... if not destroyed them already. Bad, bad idea man...

Is that what happens? I had 2 tires slashed, so I replaced them and put the new ones in the fronts. Is that gonna wear out my transfer case/differential?

Ok, but had i bought a brand new Yoko, the other 3 yokos already had 6k miles on them. So basically, to do things right you have to replace all 4 tires?
