squeeky brakes

as titled I have changed the front and rear pads with new ones, the front brakes are still squeeking under really light application, I have ordered new slotted rotors for the front, hopefully this will fix it... the front discs are extreamly "shinny" like some sort of a film has built up fron the previous pads, would this cause this squeek... its fu*cking anoying me it sounds so cheap.

make sure you lubed up all surfaces where the pads touch the calipers and also do a proper pad bedding as ak47po linked.

The squeal comes from between the pad and the caliper pots, not the pad and rotor. I'm assuming you didn't use and anti-squeal on the new pads?

i went through hell and back trying to get my car to not squeak.
turns out the pins and clip that hold the pads in were worn.
replaced them. was good to go.

Haha yeah I'm still getting used to my brakes squeaking. I'll take squeaky big factory brake over almost non existent brakes like I had on my 240
