evo 7 brake disc question

evo 7 brake disc question
Hello guys,
Changed my brake pads today, and scared myself by the brake discs - they are not held on by anything???
They have 2 holes for bolts -but theres nothing in them.... it does make sense that they stop in position when you tighted the wheels up, but my steering still knocks after some spirited driving :///
