Okay... I'm looking to maybe sell my stock tires however I don't know how much they should go for... What do you think?
I only dorve on them for 3 weeks before I had to change to snows so the are in great condition...
If I sell them and another set of wheels and tires I have from my old ride I could help pay for a nice set of 18's and tires...

i wouldn't take less than $400 plus shipping for the set... if they are in excellent condition...
a new set will run someone $800 plus shipping...

REALLY!!!!!!
These are in more then go condition they are in great condition... They literally were on the car for under 150 miles. I purchased the car in early novermber with 3 miles on it and then took them off because winter was coming...
Is anyone interested?????

If you asked for much more than $400 for the set, most people would just opt to get a brand new set from a reputable vendor.
It's not just the tires (or any used parts) wear that determines the price of a used product....
Buying used
--------------------
+ cheap price
- how worn? Sure 150 miles only, but mileage alone doesn't determine tire tread wear. Buyer just does not know for sure until product is on his doorstep.
- mounted and unmounted from a rim already. There could be tears or other problems around the bead of the tire that might not be visible.
- availibility: Where are you in the US. How long would it take for you to get the tires in the mail....and at what price.
- buying a part from a private individual of unknown character quality....you are a newbie.
Buying new
---------------
- higher price
+ tire is in prime unused condition
+ availibility: will ship in 24hrs usually and there is a set shipping price.
+ buying from a known and trusted company. You will get what you expect

I bought a set from a guy, very similiar situation (3 days on his new EVO). I paid $500, but he was close enough that we met up to make the exchange. I am sure you could find some one in your area that will buy them, that's what I would do.

That seems a little unreasonable. You would be willing to pay more than double that cost to have tires with ~500 less miles?Originally posted by Secret Chimp
