CCW Wheels look awesome, and supposedly their very well constructed. The problem with bending wheels, I would imagine, is the guy's running 9-10inch wheels are also running 35 series tires.

Maybe next summer I'll buy some 18x10 CCW's and put some beefy RA-1's, would probably be cheaper than running the 245 Hoosiers I have. The black with chrome lip CCW's look awesome.

After seeign this, I decided to forget about all the bling of 19's and go with a set of CCW's 19x9, anodized black street 2 pieces. Anyone have any pics with these? They're wild and cost effective compared to HREs and OZs and what not.

Rays is running a EVO around now with 19x9.5 CE28N's with 265 tires. Serious overkill !!

Charles,

you should talk to the guys at Extreme proformance. They fitted the 18x10's used on this EVO...

Anyhow, the shop's owner is Navid Kahangi (the same who is tearing it up in ESP this year).

He can help you. you will have to be fairly liberal in your fender rolling to make this work... good luck

Hi Chris,
I went with CCW via Hoosier Tom in the end - 18x10.5"

Unfortunately it wasn't until a week or two back that worthwhile tyres became available :-)

There will definitely be plenty of fender rolling, that's for sure !

You gotta run longer front studs and 5mm spacers to clear calipers on the front for the CCW's. They are pimp, light and relatively cheap.

275/35's Dunlop Direzzas' on the 18/9.5/35 offset Zig's. No Rub at all. I had rear 1/4's slightly rolled. Depending on tire choice you may not even need to be rolled. Trust. If you roll, be prepared for paintless dent removal on ANY Evo. 1/4's WILL warp. Had mine fixed

Volk makes wheels in 18x10.5 .....

the Cyber evo runs 18x10.5 front +18 offset and 18x9.5 rear with 265/35/18 Advan AO48 tires.
