18x10 race wheels

Suggestions please.

I'm looking for 18x10 about 15mm offset, to use as race wheels.
Style/colour/brand is irrelevant, low weight and low price are paramount.

These are race-only, running race tyres, they'll never see the street,

Any vendors care to comment ?

Thanks,
Charles

You can have custom-built Compomotives

http://www.usacomp.com/

Or Kodiak wheels are also an option, but I cannot remember their web site at this time.

Yes, $540 each (Kodiaks). Not recommended for ~3000lb cars, they're supposedly not strong enough.

I'd rather not deal with European sources, it just makes everything that much harder/longer/complicated.

Simmons in Australia might be good idea. Low weight and low prices are basically mutually exclusive though. Good luck.

tru CCW, they make drag and road race setups, 2 piece wheels, extremely popular and i believe 1500/set. He can also setup up tire combinations and have them mounted and balanced before shipped, at an extra charge of course.

the website is www.ccwheel.com if it doesnt work, do a search to get the exact site, but many corvette guys use these, as well as vipers, supras, RX7s, all types.

Not the right web page, but certainly entertaining.

Will 10 inch wheels even fit under the car without modifying the wheel wells? That's a pretty significant increase in width!

Check out:

Kinesis Motorsport (forged aluminum, 3-piece wheels. Very popular with the PCA)

Bogart Racing (check out the "Road Raace" series)

Weld Motorsports (not sure if they have sized bigger than 16")

Kodiak Racing (I think 17" is their biggest)

Simmons Wheels

Keizer Wheels (they DO make 18" wheels...but their website doesn't list any!)

Forgeline Forged Alloy Wheels (2- and 3-piece wheels. Very popular with the BMW CCA guys)

and (of course) Jongbloed Racing Wheels

HTH, Emre

Thanks for the options everyone,
I've ended up back at CCWs.

$1850/set for anybody who cares.

18x10, you will bend them eventually...

Just ask Mueller from RoadRace how many 18x9's have bent on the track...
