Have had excellent luck with the Dunlop Z-II and BFG Rival. I'd also throw in the RS3 as a third choice. Any of those would be great choices.

In the same boat. I've been looking into the zll's or the rs3's myself. I have some ad08s on my 17s and love those

the 255 is realistically a 265 anyway...theres rumors of no availability before april tho, at which point they have to fill all the backorders.

Any pros or cons with the zll's vs rs3? Or even the nto5? Really stuck on which tire to get. I really want the best tire for a track day that can also be some use for the street for few weekends and meets.

RS3 hands down. The level of grip you get out of those tires is ridiculous. But they're definitely more of a track tire than a street tire, you'll wear through them pretty fast. The NT05's are a happy medium between street and track performance. They grip fairly well, just not as well as the RS3's. I haven't driven on the new ZII's yet so I can't comment on those. Another street/track day I've been reading about and really wanna try is the new BFG Rival. But at the end of the day you still can't beat the RS3 in terms of grip and price. RS3 is my vote hands down. I just hope you don't need a 255/40/17

Thanks! ^^^^Thinking I'm going with 35 tire over 40 just in general. Any comparison with rs3's to ad08's? The car doesn't see many miles anyways. Think last year I drove it. 2,000 miles tops!
