Suspension Suggestion

Ok guys, i was able to get away with rocking Tein S techs on stock struts for 50k (7-8 years). I dont drive the car too often, but finally the front struts are blown. I am looking to upgrade the suspension and like the ride height of the springs i had on. I am looking to spend no more than 1k on a new setup. Let me know your suggestions, i have been out of the car scene for a little while now. Thanks for your help guys.

I just installed BC Racing coilovers and all I can say is i'm truly impressed with the quality and damping of the RAM Type coilovers.

MR Bilsteins w/ swift or RCE/GTWorx springs are probably your best bet.

what are you looking to get out of the setup?

If you want a boost to oem performance but nothing crazy go with MR shocks and Swift Spec-R's, probably a .5 inch higher than the setup you had.

If you want to play around with the height and have the ability to have a track setup then BC racing might be the way to go. You can get those to be at the height you had before or any height within a reasonable range.

Coilovers in my experience require more maintenance than a strut and lowering spring setup.

If you want better ride quality than the old setup. Ohlins or JRZ are great coilovers that will be able to match the tein ride height.
