show of hands for no guard liners!

So currently I still have guard liners... a part of me wants to keep them but on the other hand for my wheel fitment the pair don't mix. How many of you dont have them and how much dirt/road grime will I collect without them?
Thanks!!

Agreed. I wouldn't even think about doing this on a car that sees street use.

I had read that there are some wiring harnesses that run above the front passenger well that need protection

I drove without them for a while because when i got my evo it wripped off after a few days of driving. Nothing happened really but there is a harness on the driver side tunnel thats the main harness for headlights etc etc. it gets soaked and its actually not even fully wrapped from the factory. I sealed that plastic box and re-wrapped the wiring and got new fender lining. It does get dirty but never really affected anything. I'd get them if possible

I have an aggressive wheel Setup and my ride height is not even close to being slammed, it sits rather nice though I think im going to raise my car. With the rear on the other hand I've rolled and even cut a little to fit my wheels because they scrub when there's weight in the back and would have to say without a doubt was the worst decision I had ever made!

I have small strategic cuts that I made in mine which alleviated any rubbing, and i'm only 18x9 with 245s, 15mm spacer up front. I wouldn't remove completely because alot of sand will get in there and cake up when it is wet no bueno
