Front CV axle replacement help

Question Front CV axle replacement help

so anyone have a how to????

and do i need to change the Tcase or Trans fluid while in there?

EvoMoto has a nice write up for a clutch replacement that involves the removal of the axles. ..just use the write up for your axle removal and install...

Your job starts at #16 but I would read everything before that too.

The only thing im still confused about is, i had someone tell me that you lose fluid when doing this? so trans or T Case??? i feel like you dont lose any fluid but thats what i've been told.

You'll lose fluid, but depending on how fast you are and if you jack up one side of the car at a time it's dependent.

Plan to replace at least a quart or liter.

not a problem! but will i lose T case or trans? lol i'm going to just change which ever one!

If I'm not mistaken, it'll be trans fluid on the driver's side and TC fluid on the passenger's. Slide under there and take a look.
