Coilover suggestions!

Hello everyone,

I'm looking for a set of coilovers for around $800-$1,000 and I need some suggestions. My front passenger swift sport spring snapped and I've decided to invest on a nice set of coilovers. Nothing too expensive just something nice for a daily driven Evo IX MR in a really small town. Any brand suggestions? Are the megan racing street series worth buying? Any help would be great. TIA!

Fortune Auto. Nothing else is worth mentioning in the same price range.

if you're in alaska I'd stick with stock suspension. coilovers are going to rust and seize up real quick up there

otherwise, if you really want coilovers, fortune auto

Fortune Autos for your price range. If you had triple the money I would suggest KW, but I personally rock Fortune Autos and they're great because you can have them rebuilt in the U.S. and in a short period of time vice sending coilovers out to Japan for a rebuild

I just bought BC coilovers for around $994 shipped and am very happy with them. Only reason I ordered BC's was because I wanted to do 0% financing through Amazon. (and I wanted Gold top hats instead of green lol)

I would go with BC or FA (Fortune Auto). No Megan....not worth the $ you save.

Tein Basics were $900...they are now Tein Basis, have received an upgrade, and are now $700. They can be serviced here in the United States as well.

definitely fortune auto, or teins have some cheap one I believe and I heard they are great. And a couple buddies of mine run stance which they say ride well as well. Just search around and review on what you think is best for your daily driving.

I had a set of the BC Racing Coilovers, I think I picked them up for like $750 but they were used. While I was running them I definetly liked the feel and the spring ratings werent too bad either. If I had to do it over again I would probably go a different route. but for the time being they werent bad on price, especially daily driven

Why do you need coilovers?

At that price you should just cut your OEM springs or spend enough to get decent entry level coilovers.
