Stoptech 14 inch trophy no 6 piston for ct9a?
Anyone have the 14 inch 4 piston trophy on their car? I was originally going to get the six piston version but they are only made for the evo X.
If I can only get 4 piston not sure it's worth the price compared to the st40 kit.
Wonder if theres any point to getting the st60 for more stopping power.

Thats confusing Hope that to be the case but i've yet to see anyone rocking them on the evo 7-9 yet.
If that were true about the X having same bolt pattern wouldn't it be a cheap upgrade for people to put evo X brembo's on ct9a's?

Just out of curiosity, what information do you know/have to prove that the stoptech big brake upgrades are the only ones that are properly valved for front rear bias?
I will say, they do seem to be the few that offer a matching rear caliper. My favorites are the Brembo Gt and GTR kits, but 4 piston rear calipers seem a bit overkill. I think Stoptechs idea of keeping a 2 piston rear caliper seems more proper, imo.
With that said, if I needed a big brake kit, and I went with stoptechs, I would go trophy kit. One nice advantage is the hard anodizing finish vs the painted calipers. Ive seen some tracked on stoptechs, and that shiny red has turned into a dull maroon.

Mine is ST40/ ST22 but haven't used them since it is still being built.
I bought a used, and when I say used I mean used, set for like $1500 and had them rebuilt. Cost wasn't bad for the coating/ rebuild but new rotors where big $$$$. I am going to run the Ti shims so hopefully the finish will not fade or discolor. All in I think it cost me about $3k with redoing the calipers, new rotor rings, and re-anodizing the rotor hats.
I don't have any proof but it seems that their bias is a pretty good fit from what I have read.

We do not offer a 6-piston 355x32 kit for the 2003-2006 Mitsubishi Evo, only a 4-piston. Only for the 2008-2014 Mitsubishi Evo that we offer a 6-piston 355x32 kit. If you decided to get our Trophy BBK, it is the same size rotors and only the caliper body and rotor hats are different.
