how to remove pad deposits from the rotor ?

going to buy Hawk HP+ pads and what do you suggest, swap them directly, bed them in and see if they can clean old deposits or all the way turn the rotors and then install new Hawks

if your rotors are in good shape (no grooves, etc) then you can have a shop clean them up for you. i take mine in and have them do the sanding that they usually do after a turn. they charge me $20 for all four. that's easier for me than to do it myself.
i haven't had a rotor turned in YEEEEEEEEEARS. i've never had one actually warp.

cleaned the rotors with hand and sandpaper, worked like a charm so far. installed new Hawk HP+ and no vibrations during bed in and afterward city driving

rest will see on track and racing conditions tomorrow
