Attention: EVO Alignment & Front Camber
Attention: EVO Alignment & Front Camber
If you are going to get an alignment on your evo, you should bring this: Evo Camber with you to your shop.
Mods, perhaps this should be a sticky.
I went to a tire shop that was recommended by a racing shop and is highly regarded on the net. I searched for the recommended settings on the forum and asked them for 1.8 front camber and 1.5 rear camber. When I got the car back they said they could only get 0.7. Afterwards, I searched the forums and found that several people had the same experience. It took me a while to find these instructions. To avoid having to go to for alignment twice, bring the instructions with you. It seems that even the supposedly good shops can mess this up.
As a side note, when I came back with the instructions, I was expecting an apology for them not knowing how to set up my car. Instead they told me that I should have had this info when I brought the car in. They also upped the future price for alignment on the EVO to $110 from $75.
