Car has 45k on it, never driven in the snow/salt and barely in the rain. Garage kept its entire life.

I bought the car a couple weeks ago and it will be my daily. Rain, snow or shine.

I've been thinking of doing this and seeing this thread and how it could be done still mounted I'll definitely be doing that this weekend.
It came out really good and good job on the write up as well.

I did one front caliper that was almost all stripped One picture is one with no clear and the other is the one I did clear. I just washed it with some wheel cleaner and peeled some clearcoat off. I didn't sand the brembo or really spend more than 3 minutes on it.... This was just a test run and I used rustoleum painters clear coat which says it has a max temp of 200 degrees . It's been 3 weeks and I had an autocross event last weekend and it's still holding up haha. I do plan to redo them all with high temp clear coat sometime next week though.

Mine have been through a couple auto cross events and still look good. I'm so happy I didn't have to repaint the calipers when they turned pink. Once it's sprayed it stays the regular brembo red color.
