Had the tanabe springs put on!!!!!

I think the first thing I should say to this point is they feel more aggresive than stock but the ride is almost the same not much harsher at all, the bottom line is if you can deal with stock bumpiness you can deal with these. The drop was absolutely perfect, the best I have on any car with springs I've had. Highway handling feels the same unless you turn the wheel a little bit, you think the car responded well before that damn thing will go where you want it to even more now! In the end very happy with quality, ride, looks.

tanabe gf210's, no pics yet, and no alignment yet. The drop leaves a perfect gap from front to back. In fact a guy with coilovers said he was going to do the same looking drop with his.
Alignment this week, but it does'nt pull left or right at all, still need to have one though.

That's weird. My friend had a set on couple weeks ago and we both feel that these springs are softer than stock when cruising. It may be because of their progressive spring rate, we feel it rides better in terms of comfort. Although they feel softer, but the car is even more balance than the stocker during hard corning.

And I totally agree with you that the drop is "perfect". It looks so much better than stock. The front and rear wheel gaps are now even.

My buddy Space Monkey has these on his Evo and I used to swear to him that they felt better than stock when we would take his car out. Absolute perfect drop, level all around. I would totally get the Tanabe's but the only things that scared me were seeing how much of a pain in the as it was to towe the car and the fact that you can no longer drive it up on ramps, at least not my Rhino Ramps. If I can find ways around these two situations then I may very well shoot for these soon. Btw bravo on the choice guys.

Tanabe only has one set of springs for an Evo actually

For a street car, progressive is perfectly fine IMHO

did you replace your shocks as well?

how well will the stock shocks work with a smaller spring?

I ask this because when using lowering springs on a previous car. the ride was good for maybe a year...then it kept getting worse...now its like all i am riding on is springs....no control in the rebound

I want to know that as well.....I've been thinking to get this spring (or S-tech) but I'm also very concern the extra wear on the stock shock.
