Most of this stuff is written only to sell cars. But once in a while you see a quote where maybe some truth leaked through. What caught my eye were the words, “What surprised us . . .” But am I going to spend the rest of my morning looking for that quote? You win.

Mitsubishi wanted to give the Evo owner the feel of a rally car without actually providing a rally car suspension (for good reasons) and as part of that they chose the KYB shock and some amazing tires.

 

All you're giving is opinion.

Reality is they chose the KYB for the lesser models because it was cheaper.

I've never heard anyone who has driven on both say they think the KYB was better in any way whatsoever.
