Enkei RPF1 Inquiry

Hey Guys, I'm contemplating getting a set of the RPF1 for my 2005 Evo 8, in the oem size of 17 x 8 with 35 mm offset, and runnin 235/45/r17 Yokohama Avid Envigors. The question I have is this; I know that they will clear the brakes, so that's not the issue in terms of needing spacers, however I am lowered on Tein Flex Z coilovers, and I'm wondering if there will be any issues with rubbing. I'm on the stock 8 enkei's right now and have no issues, so I just wanted to confirm before I make the jump to these.

Thanks for any input!

UPDATE: disregard, putting in Wheels Fitment thread!

Yes, I believe you are correct. This RPF1 is one of just a few that actually clear the front brakes

The 17x8 +35 is almost identical to the stock wheel (just 3mm further outboard). Running a 235 should be totally fine w/out a rear roll

thank you for all the feedback! I’m thinking I’ll probably move to a 17 x 9.5 + .38 mm offset in the Rpf1’s with 255/40/17 tires. I saw someone running this set up and they did 20mm spacers up front. Hopefully that should work with no rolling involved.

I run this setup and it works good. I did add 10mm spacers in the rear but rub from time to time. That setup I have doesn’t have rolled fenders but I’m thinking I might need to. It’s the best look in my opinion.
