Bilstein B6 availablity

I'm looking to buy a set of b6 front struts for my IX, it seems everyone has been on backorder for over 6 months...

Has Bilstein stopped making these?

You could go the bilstein b8 route if you have any springs that lower the car a little bit over oem.

B8's would be good to go with if you plan to go lower anyway, as CaptainSquirts mentioned above.

All Bilstein struts are on backorder and have been for ages. Something about moving and retooling the factory.

Most of the time new car parts like that on eBay are drop-shipped. I would recommend confirming they have them to ship immediately, if you decide to go that route.

35-118435 - front
24-118446 - rear
search the part numbers and call them up.

MAP has them in stock but I would contact them to verify. Looks like they will price match.

Just emailed them, we'll see. I've checked a few other vendors and none have them in stock, nor do they have a solid ETA.

If you don't have any luck with MAP:

Summit has the B6 rear shocks in stock - Link
Ross Sport in the UK has the B6 front struts in stock - Link

I had the front struts on order through summit for the last seven months. Then, tsitalon1 found that Ross Sport had them in stock. I cancelled my order with Summit, ordered through Ross Sport, and they arrived at my door in two days.

For what it's worth, I was told by Bilstein that US distributors should have B6 stock by June / July 2019.
