Sway Bar Lateral Locks

Has anyone used/put these on their sway bars? Do they actually do anything, or not really? I'm not sure how much lateral movement sway bars see

And if so, do you need 4, one for each side of each bushing, or just 2, outside of each bushing or inside of each bushing?

You would only need to per bar. I've never actually seen anyone use them, so I wonder if they are really all that effective.

I use something like that on my Bug. Mostly cause my sway bar bushings are delrin and it lets the bar slide around a lot. My tires will also rub the bar at full lock if the bar doesnt stay centered. But if you are using rubber bushings, I really dont see a need for them.

Well, I cant tell you how disappointed i am in both you boys LOL

Our favorite Hard Parker (V.8MR) runs these or at least has installed them

All joking aside, not sure how much lateral movement there is with this bar. They look cool! (here they are hard parked in the garage, not doing any good here =)

My sway bar has stops welded onto the bar, so haven't really thought about it. So I guess they would help!

Its a solution to a problem. If you don't have the problem they are only more weight.

I am using Lowe's brand sway bar lateral locks for my WL 24 mm RSB. Definitely needed IMHO. If the urethane bushings are well lubricated, the bar will move to one side without it.
