I prefer OEM where possible but given the age of the car it is not always possible. "While you are in there" check for cracks around the rear toe arm. Tends to split...

OEM ball joints have never been available though instead requiring entire arms to be replaced, which is why a lot of people bought Hard Race. Any experience out there?

While a different platform and part, Honda & bushings, Hardrace never held up well for me, daily & autocross. Lasted maybe a year. Personally would not ever use Hardrace on my X.

My gut tells me Febest is the better option, since they supply service parts to hundreds of vehicles, not just as a Chinesium aftermarket solution. I've had awful experience with HardRace; I bought 2 products from them, both ended up being repackages that fit an entirely different car than what they claimed to be selling for. They are barely competent in my mind.

I can't believe I forgot to write this yesterday, but situations like this, I have resorted to Ebay with success. Especially if you find a reputable junkyard seller. Going back to that cracked rear toe arm, I bought several replacements on Ebay for like $20 each, and they all came with ball joints. The cracked toe arms that came off my car are still on my "spare parts" shelf LOL
