OEM Struts/Shock Mount Upgrades and Install DIY

Hi everyone,

I did a bunch of searching on here and with the Googles and I didn’t find much on this.

I have a set of Blisteins with Swift Spec R springs and I want to install camber plates up front to get close to -3 degrees up front. I found the Works front and rear mounts, but it isn’t super clear that they will work with OEM style front and rear struts/shocks?

For install these just go above the upper spring mount on the front and top of the spring in the rear? Directions available online (Tein) aren’t awesome.

Thanks!

hmm why do you need that much camber with a stock-ish suspension?

Way back in the day I ran a set of tein top hats on Bilstein's and gtworx spring. Worked just fine. Been too long to remember how its installed but likely required a spring compressor because I think only the top nut is used to hold the assembly together.

I want to use the car mostly for track days and it seems like a lot of the setup threads recommend up to -3 degrees camber. I figured while it was apart I could throw some camber plates in and when I’m at the track I’d have more adjustment then I probably need.

Thanks! A quick search of the Tein site does show one’s that work with OEM style springs; they must have discontinued them.

Maybe it’s time to buy a coilover setup…
