What stock shocks were you on prior to the switch to Ohlins?

I was on the stock Bilstein's with swift lowering springs. The ohilns are slightly stiffer but still comfortable.

Curious about the idea of going back to stock suspension with lowering springs vs a BETTER coil over. Currently, I’m on Tien Z flex coil overs, and they’re not good over ANY type of bumps… If I’m only driving on the street, what is the best set up for overall road driving, performance, and lowered?

… did you purchase all new stock suspension or just reinstall the original suspension? (My original suspension is all rusted out… I like your idea, but I’d have to deal with the rust.) And what lowering springs did you go with? Thx.

If you want the best ride quality, I LOVED my MR struts with Swift lowering springs. They were an amazing balance of comfort and quality. The only reason I moved away from them was the deal I got on my dream wheels but in a slightly aggressive offset. If my TE's would have been +22 instead of +15, I'd still be running those struts and springs without a doubt.
