I have replaced my rear toe arms with these and set them up per the photo they have on their website per the rep I spoke to at TQ solutions. After alignment the rear was not settling correctly and felt like it “skates”. I have now put the two spacers above the spherical bearing and it is now better but still “skates”. Any information on how to fix this? Current alignment specs on my 03:
front:
camber -2.5
toe 0
rear
camber -1.5
toe factory .24
The arms I have
picture from their website of how it was originally installed but had a “skating “ feel..
Gee what a surprise, TS doesn't know how to set up their own product, maybe because they don't actually engineer anything they make. Pathetic copy/paste company.
OP the best starting place is to try and make the toe arm parallel to the upper and lower control arms. Depending on ride height and any geometry corrections will determine which way you need to go from there to minimize bumpsteer.
Dang ok. Thank you both for replying. I was going to go with a Megan or hardrace but thought TS was a reputable company. It’s really bad and not confident inspiring driving my evo. I will need to have it rechecked. It’s unfortunate as I would need to do another alignment. I’ll do my best to take a photo of it on the ground once it stops raining.
I wouldnt use the factory toe setting when you are much lower than factory ride height. Zero out the toe and then remove spring from the coilover. Compress the suspension and then let it fall and watch the arms/strut to see if they allow full suspension travel.
