8.5j wheels fitment

hello guys i wanted to ask how you dealt with this part when you did fit bigger wheels, evo 4 to evo 6.
is it safe or doable to cut or bend?

You can roll the fender lip, so you don't have to cut.

a guy told me that he hammered it down pretty hard and senth me this pic, i want to understand whats the best route is, if someone did it already
