Coilover vs. Damper

Coilover vs. Damper

I am getting the impression that coilover and damper is the same thing, am I right? if not what the different between these two?

Dampers are the struts.

The damper is basically part of the coilover system.

A coilover system has coil springs over a damper or strut.
