Sway Bar Bushing Squeaking - What Grease?

One of my rear sway bar bushing is making really bad squeaking sounds. I have never had a car with rubber bushings make noise before. I assume the solution is to use grease.

What grease do you recommend using?

I've often wondered the same. I'd say just a standard mobil grease or whatever. Tho not too much cause you don't want it to collect dirt

use teflon tape, instead. No squeaks.

or a lithium based grease works well also, you cant beat teflon tape though.

And likely to hold up where I'm guessing the grease just defers the problem for a few months.....

well, if it happens again, you need to go with lithium grease, especially if you have urethane bushings.. depending on who you bought it from they should have supplied you with a small amount of lithium grease for this very reason..
