Hmmm, I'll think I'll have to try your settings, Claudius.... Especially the one in the back. I run 1,75 in the back at the present and like you say, oversteer comes very abruptly and then it's the AYC and all the fun's gone. What does the AYC do with your camber? It must rattle like mad...

this driving style is called "scandinavian flic".

Have you ever tried those setting when going through sweeping corners with more than 150km/h? As you have such a difference between front and rear grip this could be quite interesting. Wouldn't fancy the back end brake away at these kind of speeds.

Cheers

Dario

with your short gearing you don't even reach those speeds

And Monaco is too small to reach them anyway

Cheers

Scoobymike,

I don't have the gr.n short ratio, I have the short gears with lonf final, and the top speed is 220km/h at 7500rpm!

In the highway before the monaco exit, thera are a few tight curves that you take at around 200km/h and with a hard steer you make the evo drift for a few meters in fifth !

If it's wet you don't neet to steer hard!

Off course when you drift at 200km/h you have to expect some tyre wear even with active yaw control

Claudius,

I post pics of your car because you don't have a digital camera, because my tyres are not bridgestones, and because anyone can see pictures of my evo v on communities.msn.com/EvolutionV or on the registry of lancerforums.

I sent you a message with some pics of your tme, so now you can register it !

Guys

I've already driven through some sweeping corners with 270km/h in a Supra in France. But honestly I wouldn't dare to get the backend out at 200 on a public road.

Get a drive with Gerrit (N.Ring) around the Ring. When I was in the car we had a scary drift moment at 220km/h After that I had to change my underwear. But needed a second flying lap though, just pure adrenalin

Antonio from myevo has been driven around on the Ring by Sven Haaf (former Group N German champion) with an Group N EVO . Topspeed wasn't good but flying with all four wheels in the air at over 160 definetely was

Take care

Mike
