Need Help!!!

OK for starters I was rolling slow in a parking lot and heard the metal on metal chirp from my right rear brakes. 8400 miles any ideas? Also i got my tires and springs put on recently. Today when i was making right turns you could here something hitting. Sounding like metal on metal and rattling. Any ideas? Also when the balanced the tires they put on those stickum lead weights on the inside of the tire. Some are already missing. anyway of preventing this from happening?

Ouch - have you talked to the place that did the work? My track wheels have stick-on weights and have seen over 140mph, race track braking, and lots of hard cornering without issues.

If the brake problem is so bad you don't dare drive the car, jack it up and pull the pads out of the scraping brake to take a look at the problem. Be sure to keep track of the inside and outside pads - don't flip them.

wow. the exact same thing happened to me, right after i had those sticky weights put on. based on another post on here that i read the other day, it sounds like one of those sticky weights may have gotten trapped inside the brake housing.
