Will Tein S-Tech's kill my stock struts?

I'm looking to get the Tein S-Techs simply because they offer a nice drop, and they are just a touch stiffer than stock.

My only concern with them is that I'm afraid that they're going to kill my stock struts after a few thousand miles.

Am I crazy? Does the Evo8 have beefy stock struts?

Thanks all!

any aftermartket springs will lessen the life of your stock struts and you'll be bouncing around like mad.

I have no bounce, and my freind has had these on his car for +20k miles and no problems, still stiff and cornering is good aswell. The springs are designed to have a higher spring rate , so you dont get any bottoming out or things like that which would be damaging to struts. Your struts still move the same amount with these springs on normal roads as they would with the stock springs. I dont understand why it would do damage to the struts. Ive love mine and they make the car look so much more agressive

ok, if the spring rate is matched to the struts you'll be fine. just make sure of that.
