Are the EVO wheels interchangable with 05 STI wheels?

The 05 STI has 8" wide wheels with a 5 x 114 bolt pattern, which I think is the same as the EVO. Of course they both have the Brembo brakes so the caliper clearnace issues are similar. Does anybody know if they are a bolt-up swap? I just bought an 05 STI and might buy one of the many sets of used Enkei wheels if I knew for sure they would fit. Fact is, I'd really like to temporarily test the stock EVO wheels with the stock Advans just to see if they would make the STI steer better.

No Dale_K is right, the 2005 STi now have 5x114.3 bolt pattern. The offset of the EVO Enkei wheels might not be enough and could possibly rub.

I kind of think that STI 8" BBS wheels are better than the Evo Enkei's

I'm near Annapolis MD. Maybe some EVO owner in the region would be willing to meet so we could check out the wheel fitment in real life.

Unless Subaru dramatically changed the offset too I would expext that the rims will not fit. subaru uses a +53mm offset to our +38mm offset.
