EVO stock front strut tower bar

Has anyone taken off their FSTB and driven without it?

Does it feel like you lost handling performance?

i believe he's stating an improvement. you should get a fair amount of oversteer which is a good thing (door hinges turn pretty well yeah?). you could get the same effect by adding a rear strut tower bar. and having both would also keep yer car more rigid and transfer weight faster.

Improvement, no way, when a driver tells you the car is handling like a hinged door the vehicle is not stable in the corners. By removing the bracing at any location on the car you are weakening the platform that the suspension components are relying on so they can function at their best.

in any case what i said still stands... you'd get oversteer and people do modify their rear to be stiffer and transfer weight faster to get the same effect. it is tru you would lose weight transfer speed in front my lossening it up.
