Which TEIN coilover setup?

I have decided on TEIN to supply my coilovers. I have also decided that I want the EDFC option. Looks like the Type Flex and the SS are my options. The SS setup uses lower spring rates than the Flex. Id like to hear from ppl who are using each type about how the car handles, rides, etc.

My EVO will be used for aggressive street driving only. Very little dragstrip, no track and probably no autoXing.

I am leaning towards the SS because of the less aggressive spring rates, but the SS doesn't come with upper mounts and the Flex does...

So, Ill shutup now and listen(read) to your replies!

I love my TEIN FLEX with EDFC. Here are some pics:

I've got install pics, and am going to upload them soon. With the FLEX at full soft, the ride is soft, and at full stiff, it's plain uncomfortable!

I do recommend then, and definately recommend the EDFC!

Good luck

I personaly might go with the JIC coil-over setup, two of the guys (fastest) in my Auto-x ESP class are running JIC.

Tein RA does not support the EDFC.

I'd go with TEIN w/ EDFC.

If you plan to only use it on the street, I would highly advise the SS....it will be MUCH quieter (no pillowball mounts). While you are giving up the dual height adjustability, for a street driven car, you would never notice it's not there.

I have the SS setup. The ride is very comfortable (better than stock) and they are very quiet. I'd recommend it for street use, but not for track.
