Brake Pad suggestions
Ok, I'm in the market for some new brake pads. My rotors are still good enough, that if I get them turned they'll be fine for another run through a set of pads.
Here are my concerns:
1) I do autocross occassionally. Pad has to have some capabilities there.
2) Price is a concern. I'm not about to pay $200 for a pair of pads.
3) I hate brake dust, but I know it's inevitable. Less is best here.
4) Something that won't chew up the factory rotors too much.
5) Something that isn't going to wear incredibly fast, but I'll get similar miles out of them, like what I did with the factory pads.
6) No squealing! I hate that.
Anyone make some suggestions?

Feroddo 2500 will be esier on rotors than the 3000, also ive heard that project u's are nice, and endless SS are all pop. choices that ive been recomended almost all the companys have two or three optoins the first being street/track and they get more and more track worthy as you move up(the track ones eat the rotors quicker, and need to be heated up for daily driving by dragging the brakes when you first set out on your journey)also the copper anti-squell gell is most attributed to squeel(ie:lack of the gell) hope this helps ,peace
oh the ones that really squeel are Carbotech i wouldnt recomend

Hawk HPS compound should be available soon. Good compound for aggressive street and , IMO, great auto-x pads.
The less you use your brakes the more they will squeel. Try several hard stops, enough to get the brakes hot, but not smoking or anything like that. I bet your squeel will be reduced or stop for a while.

My choice is Porterfield R4-S: http://www.selgp.biz/index.asp?PageA...TS&Category=12
