Sorry about the missing hardware. Usually everything is there... except I highly suggest people not use the OE spring bolts unless Megan now supplies a OE downpipe flange that uses an OE type donut gasket (I've not been notified of any change... of course, I was not notified of a "bung in the delete pipe" either). All the ones I've installed, including my own, were "flat flange" O2 to downpipe flanges. I suggest pulling off the OE donut gasket, and using a flat "standard" gasket that used to be supplied.

Sometimes the downpipe hangars take a beating. I've not figured out how they manage to do that to them. However, once in a while I come across one that needs to be "bent" back to where it needs to be. I've yet to see a failure due to this "coaxing".

Let me know if you need some hardware sent out...

^ told you guys great service. I just used some bolts that I found that were the right size. The bolt that I used to fasten the downpipe to the o2 housing was a supplied one from megan(it stripped). They also provided a gasket like the oem one- not flat. So should I use a spring bolt- but i couldnt since the bolt got stripped pretty good. How would i take it off, if i need to for the future?

Zeus,, I just got a box delivered today and when I opened the box I found a spanking new Megan Racing manifold and 02 housing and all I can say is WOW this stuff looks great. I got all the hardware and gaskets included nothing is missing. Thanx Zeus, all I need now is the 20G I ordered from Buschur to bolt all this stuff to and go to the dyno. I will post up numbers if you want to compare to the WR turbo. Zeus Rocks!!

Hey, make sure you reuse, or buy new OE Turbo flange/Manifold/O2 gaskets. Using the Megan gaskets is fine on the exhaust, but I'd not advise it above the downpipe. You may reuse the original ones if they have never been off with out any issue what so ever.

Enjoy

Will the stock cat would bolt up without problems if I didn't want to run the test pipe?

Some people have to dremel a mm or two out of the Megan bolt holes to fit the small stock cat. The Megan site pictures are incorrect... The Evo application is a 100% full 3" from downpipe O2 flange to exhaust exit where it bumps "up" to 4".

Just working on saving some money...anxious to jump on the TBE with such an amazing price!

Are the latest generation setups in stock that fit the '05s?

Yes, I have current customers running the 2nd Gen downpipes on 05's... the only question is if there will be an issue with the MR six speed tranny.

Will the Megan TBE fit the IX without any modifications?

Some say yes, a couple have had problems... so I say no! Megan is releasing something new for 05's and IX's around the end of the month.

Not yet, just a redesign for the 05's after the few people had fitment issues, and the newly designed IX. I'm still looking at a Ti system also for those crazy enough to spend the money on one. Of course that is way down the road. It will be priced much better than what is out there now.
