Veilside Evo VIII body kit sale is on !
Ok, I know I mentioned this in a different thread making reference to the group buy on this kit was coming. NO GROUP BUY !! You can buy 1 part or 10 parts. Whatever. Only one problem though. Heres an email I just now received from Veilside USA.
In regards to the Evo 8 kits, we have learned that the rear bumpers are in fact different from the US Spec Evo's. Mitsubishi has apologized for the wrong information. We are now waiting for Mitsubishi to send us a US Spec rear bumper so that we may develop a US Specific rear under spoiler.

Wow, glad they found out. Up until now, they've told me that the rear bumpers were the same. With that said, if you still want the rear lip we'll get those specific US molds ordered and they will be the same price as on my pricelist . The rest of the kit can be pre ordered for the August availability but the rear lip may be a little longer or may be ready to ship by then. Here's the prices I have. This is below msrp from Veilside. Here's my entire copy and past from the other thread:
I got my pricing ready and it includes shipping to veilside in Cali. An entire kit will cost $140-$150 shipping to east coast and $110-$120 to west coast. I dont think they allow pickups. These shipping estimates are only to a business district. Add $46 to ship residential. They are taking preorders now for the first shipment that will reach California in the first two weeks of august. If you want one then, you gotta pay now ! Here goes the pricing :
Front Half-Spoiler (FRP or Urethane) $ 419
Side Under Wings (FRP or Urethane) $ 489
Side Under Wings (Carbon) $ 562
Rear Half-Spoiler (FRP or Urethane) $ 346
Rear Wing (FRP) $ 703
Rear Wing (FRP/CF) $ 778
NOTE: THESE DO NOT INCLUDE SHIPPING FROM CALIFORNIA BUT DO INCLUDE SHIPPING FROM JAPAN TO CALIFORNIA

UPDATE :
Here's the latest info from Veilside USA looks like it the shipment MAY be pushed for the rear lip but we can still start ordering them. Be the first group in the USA to have these great kits !!

We did hope to have it here in early August, but at this time we are still waiting on Mitsubishi to send us the US Spec bumper. Once we remake the plug, it will take another month for the mold to be completed. This may push back the first shipments further.
