I could send you one to test possibly with your order. There are better routes to go then a stage 0.

Thanks! I would appreciate it. I will bear that in mind when my baby arrives I don't know if I will be happy with the stage 0 but seeing as

1) I prob will keep myself out of trouble with "the man" with a small bump in hp

2) I have never driven an evo (only rode in a evo 6....whoa) so I don't know if I will just be happy with what it has or need more (like the stage 0) or way more (who knows)

oh just in case ...to anyone else reading this, any flamers on not modding the evo ..... can kiss my ***

..out...

I had a HKS SSQBOV, and did vent it back into the atmosphere, but the car STILL fell on its face, and stumbled and stalled because of it. It was because of the ubber stiff spring, so it woun't fully open unless I made like 20+PSI off boost and then let off the gas, other wise I would get MAD compressor surge, and teh car would die, even just incnhing along, hit the gas and then quickly let off, would yeild a stall.

I want a BOV that'll vent back into the intake, but drive like a stock unit, open under slight vaccum, and not a huge amount, I basically want a guarantee that my car will run like stock but hold boost if I ask it too, can you do that? Guarantee that?

ANybody have the recirculation Forge BOV?

Whats the deal with these BOVS? Anyone have one? I need one that runs just lik ethe stock one, that'll open even under the slightest vaccumm conditions and not stumple and cause compressor surge. I need one that won't cause my car to stal either.

Basically I want 100% stock operation guaranteed to me without any boost leak at 20PSI, can this be guaranteed? And if so I am sold, anyone have one installed?

I have used Forge Dvs on both my S4's and my WRX. Extremely reliable and well-built. The black ones are pretty stealthy and blend-in like stock.

As far as the DV's/BOV's for the EVO goes, no VTA BOV (Forge or otherwise) is going to work well with the stock Karman MAF set-up. The MAF senses the air flow and signals the ECU to provide the correct fuel metering. Obviously if you are suddenly purging air to atmosphere downstream of the MAF, you have just reduced air volume thus creating a momentary rich fueling condition.

Promoting Forge as being the only reliable Dv option, and then selling the Forge VTA's as one of those options seems contradictory. Maybe I am missing something??

They are not adjustable however they come with different springs that you can replace inside the valve. The unit has the medium spring already in it. However they include a softer and harder spring to switch to depending on how you want it to release.
